So I was feeling pretty useless staying at home everyday last week, waking up mid-day and then face the digital face of my laptop the rest of the day. It's the holidays, I'm supposed to do so. But no, at the end of this
Term Exam? Big deal!
Yes. It is a big deal.
I dislike having exams right after holidays. It spoils the mood! :( I haven't been studying lately (except for maybe that day when I went to the library...), and I feel extremely guilty about it. Sigh. There're just too many distractions at home. I still wonder how I managed to ban myself from Facebook for months before SPM. It's amazing how a social networking site is able to take over our lives (or in some cases, take lives).
My dearest boss IMed me on Wednesday (if I remember correctly) and we arranged a study day on Friday - 17th December 2010. And I thought - finally! A productive day to come :D
Because I pretty much screwed up my biological clock, I slept at 4am the night before. And woke up at 7.30am.
I followed mummy to work, had a good breakfast - 2 pieces of toast with egg and hot tea - at her office's cafeteria before proceeding to the LRT station to take me to PJ.
Met up with Livia at 10am and off we went to Starbucks. And our study marathon began.
We stayed at Starbucks for 10 (TEN!) hours. And because we are so kiamsiap, we only order one drink. Bahahahhaha! Oh well. At the very least, we didn't take the free coffee they were giving out that day :P
At 8pm, we went to Coffee Ritual for crepe!

RM14 for Mushroom and Turkey Slice Crepe and a hot cuppa Dinah tea. Reasonable? Reasonable.
What I had in mind after dinner was to return to Starbucks, order a hot chocolate, sit at the balcony and continue studying. Did I mention how bloody cold it was that day? It was bloody cold. We were walking around in our hoodies, driving without air-cond - it was as though we just got back from Genting.
Back to my story. The lady then suggested to go for a movie. And I thought, hm, why not?
Off we went to 1Utama in hopes of getting tickets to watch Due Date. We were deciding whether to go for Due Date or Tron Legacy. But because Livia believed in Robert Downey Jr. (pardon me if I got the spelling wrong), Due Date it was. Next showtime? 11.20pm.
Remaining seats left at 10pm was the two front rows. Hell no. So we waited. And because it's Livia and I, and we had Livia's 5megapixel Samsung phone camera...
5megapixels camera? No. This is the sucky Blackberry camera.Blackberry should really improve on their cameras. =____=
The Christmas decorations at 1Utama is really cute.

Althought I think it'd be so much cooler if they turned the middle part (see the white floor in the above picture?) into an ice-skating rink. :D

They had miniature shops selling Christmas decorations, gifts, tea, bread, chocolates, etc. Very United Kingdom-ish! I like :D Some shops even have 2 floors! A bit scary la, seeing how the shops looks so flimsy and all. But really, very cute lor!
At 10.30pm, we went back to the cinema... place to get unclaimed reserved tickets. But tickets were only released at 10.50pm. We had 20 minutes.
And so we waited somemore.
And waited.
And waited...
And we were bored. So:
Heh :P20 minutes passed and off we went to get them poor, unwanted tickets.
There were so many people going for movies that night.
:O
There were so many people going for movies that night.
:OBefore the show started, what supposed to be only a 10-minute advertisement period, turned into a 20-minute advertisement period and I regretted agreeing for a movie. I felt so tired and wanted to just sleep.
After the show ended, my cheeks hurt, my throat was dry and I was wide awake.
Due Date is a.w.e.s.o.m.e.

I have never heard of Zach Galifianakis, he is a jerk in the movie, his hairy beer belly is disgusting but he just made it into my list of favourite comedians. And the pug! (Or is it a bulldog? I can't tell...) Oh my god the pug.
Everyone has to watch this movie. But please be aware as there are really, really, REALLY disgusting scenes in it. If you need a laugh, watch this show. It will make your stomach hurt.
The movie ended at about 1am. We went to sleep at... 3. I think.
And the worst part is? We had a meeting at 8 freaking am the next day.

My alarm went off at 7am. But I slept in until 7.20am. Heh :P
At 8am, had a meeting with the high committee and honestly, I couldn't concentrate. The meeting ended at 10am. I went back to my unit for a nice hot shower while Livia went to Mr. Oo's unit for another meeting. Poor girl :P (please don't kill me!)
After freshing up, went for breakfast at the kopitiam next to my condo. 2 pieces of toast, 2 eggs and hot Milo. Only thing missing was reading material. Planned, initially to buy Reader's Digest from the bookstore across the road, but realised I was short on cash. I've been spending so much :(
Went back to my unit after breakfast and waited until 12pm for Livia to finish her meeting. Awesome being offered to tumpang me all the way to KL :D Thanks, woman. And I'm sorry you had to get stuck in the jam outside Pavilion :|
Fast-walked all the way to Times Square from Lot10 because my phone was flooded with SMSes in capital letters and exclamations marks demanding where the hell I was. =___=
Second study marathon started at 2pm.
But because we both had laptops in front of us... and wifi... I wasted about an hour plus on Facebook. Writing wall-to-wall posts to a person sitting next to me =________=
BUT! I managed to finish one topic. Mwahahahhaha
At 6pm, walked to Pavilion and waited for mummy to come. Sorry Enthonee, your father left for dinner without you. Then again, if I were your father... I would've too. :P
Shopped a little bit with mummy after Tony left and before daddy came.
Went for steamboat with droopy eyes, and an aching back. I planned to sleep by 11pm.
But you know me.
